Tamara (“Tami”) M. Simon, JD, is a Senior Vice President and the Global Corporate Consulting Leader at Segal. Named one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Employee Benefit Consulting, Ms. Simon is a nationally recognized HR and employee benefits expert. She leads Segal’s Global Consulting Business, addressing organizational and workforce needs of employers including large to mid-market corporations, nonprofits, higher education institutions, among others. Ms. Simon works in Segal’s Washington, DC office.
Ms. Simon joined Segal in 2018 from Buck, where she was a member of the senior executive team and led two successful practices. Before that, Ms. Simon spent the majority of her career with Mercer, as a member of its prestigious Washington Resource Group, providing employers insightful legal analysis, practical solutions, and trusted advice on health and wellbeing. She was also in private law practice with McDermott, Will & Emery and worked for Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt).

She is also a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign, with a BA in Political Science. She is a member of the Illinois Bar. Ms. Simon lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband, three teenage children and puppy, Mia. In her spare time, she designs and makes jewelry, tends to her vegetable and spice garden, and enjoys hiking.
