ERIC: CMS Announces MA & PDP Regions
We are forwarding you additional information just released from HHS regarding the new Medicare Regions.
HHS Secretary, Tommy G. Thompson, and CMS Administrator, Mark B. McClellan, M.D., Ph.D., will announce the new MA and PDP regional design this afternoon describing how the states will be organized into service areas for Medicare Advantage plans and prescription drug plans.
In addition, CMS will be posting a range of materials to our website related to the region design at 1:30 P.M. this afternoon. Once posted, those materials can be found at:
http://cms.hhs.gov/medicarereform/mmaregions. In advance of the official announcement, we have attached several key documents to this message. They include: - Press Release
