Inflation Reduction Act and Prescription Drugs: A Conversation with Loren Adler

The Inflation Reduction Act was the most sweeping legislation passed into law in years, and included provisions on climate, tax, and health care policies that were originally in the Build Back Better Act. This includes the most significant changes to prescription drug policy in a generation, allowing Medicare to negotiate the price of certain prescription drugs and capping annual out-of-pocket prescription drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries starting in 2025. But how do these Medicare policies impact employers and their employees?
